Standard Limited Warranty Agreement
This Standard Limited Warranty Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions for warranty coverage provided by DOT Display Solutions. Purchase and/or use of a DOT product constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement.
Parties defined under this Agreement:
A. DOT Display Solutions is a Canadian provider and manufacturer of direct view LED display systems and related solutions.
B. Authorized Reseller and Distributor refers to entities engaged in, but not limited to, the sale of DOT products.
C. End User refers to the final purchaser or licensee of DOT products for personal or organizational use, and not for resale or redistribution.
D. Authorized Service Provider refers to a person or organization authorized by DOT to perform service and/or maintenance on products under warranty without voiding said warranty.
This Agreement applies to products purchased directly from DOT Display Solutions, an Authorized Distributor, or an Authorized Reseller. It is valid only for the original End User and is non-transferable unless authorized in writing by DOT. Proof of purchase may be required to process warranty claims.
Third-party products or components distributed by DOT Display Solutions are covered under their respective manufacturer’s warranty policies unless otherwise specified in writing by DOT.
Warranty Coverage
DOT Display Solutions warrants to the original End User that all products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period. The warranty period begins on the date the product ships from DOT unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If DOT determines that a product or part is defective in materials or workmanship, DOT will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective item with a new or refurbished equivalent.
Defects are defined as follows:
i) For general components (excluding LED pixels), a defect refers to a variance from product specifications that prevents normal operation for its intended purpose.
ii) For LED pixels, defects are defined as pixels that cease to emit light.
Normal LED pixel degradation is not covered unless specifically agreed to in writing. All DOT components (including cabling, power supplies, LED modules, and spares) purchased with the initial system are covered for the same duration as the primary product warranty.
Replacement or repaired items are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of shipment, whichever is longer.
Extended warranty programs may be available through DOT Display Solutions upon request.
This Agreement does not include any additional warranty terms or conditions, expressed or implied, except those specifically provided herein. DOT disclaims any implied terms and conditions unless accompanied by written agreement signed by an authorized DOT representative.
